R.I.P. Robin Williams (1951-2014)

Earlier today actor/comedian Robin Williams was found dead in his home in California from an apparent suicide.

A prolific actor in both television and film, he was most known for his roles in movies like ‘Mrs. Doubtfire,’ ‘Good Morning Vietnam,’ ‘Jumanji,’ ‘Hook,’ ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Good Will Hunting’ (which earned him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.) His trademarks included his high energy and ability to rapidly jump between characters.

With no official cause of death determined yet Hollywood and fans are shocked with the sudden passing. Early reports indicate asphyxiation as the cause of death.

Williams has often often spoke about his struggles with mental illness and had reportedly been battling depression.

Williams had multiple projects in development including ‘Mrs. Doubtfire 2’ and will reprise his role as Teddy Roosevelt in the upcoming sequel; ‘Night at the Museum 3.’

We at HefferBrew offer our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

RIP Robin, you will be missed.
